Dr. Ani Toomanian
Dr. Ani graduatedfrom the Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC in 2012. Prior to getting her degree, she worked as a dental hygienist and has been in the dental field for over 8 years. She has recently joined Dr. Ara to provide excellent dental care in Burbank and the surrounding areas. Dr. Ani continually strives to better herself by advancing her education through a general dentistry residency at UCLA School of Dentistry. She is also a proud member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. What really makes Dr. Ani special isn’t her education or experience. The reason patients travel a great distance to see her is because of her incredible ability to understand the patient’s needs and provide complicated dental work with a very soft touch. She knows what it’s like to be a patient and puts the comfort of her patients above everything else.
Dr. “Ara” Arthur Gulesserian
Dr Ara graduated from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco California. He has been serving the dental needs of the Burbank community for over 20 years and is a member of the American Dental Association and California Dental Association. Dr. Ara is known for his gentle hand and his ability to put patients at ease and see to their comfort. He has made it a priority to establish ProviDent Dental Group as a casual environment where patients feel like family. His favorite part of the job is satisfied patients; their smile makes him smile. When not caring for smiles, Dr. Ara is learning to play guitar, playing tennis and ping pong, and skiing.
Meg, RDH
Meg graduated from the University of Southern California in 2006 where she received her Bachelor's of Science in Dental Hygiene. She immediately began working as a dental hygienist in Burbank with Dr. Ara Gulesserian and the ProviDent Dental Group team. Our patients rave about Meg and her gentleness. Many new patients that come to us have had less than positive experiences with their dental cleanings at other practices. One cleaning with Meg, and patients know they have found a “gem.” The positive feedback she receives from her patients is a daily inspiration that fuels her drive for excellence.
Alida M. – RDAEF II
Alida has been working alongside Dr. Ara for over 12 years. She graduated from American Career College in May of 2002 with a certificate in dental assisting and shortly thereafter received her license as a Registered Dental Assistant. Not satisfied with only assisting, Alida furthered her education and received her RDAEF certificate from UCLA in order to expand her duties in 2006. Still eager to learn, perform more duties and to become more hands on with patient care, she received her RDAEF II certificate from UCLA in 2009. Her favorite part of working with ProviDent Dental Group in Burbank is seeing her patients smile as they are walking out of the office. Alida takes great pride in what she does and her patients’ care and comfort is her number one priority. Patients love her for her outgoing, fun-loving personality; she has been known to serenade a patient or two, especially around the holidays. When not at the practice, Alida can be found spending time with her husband of 10 years and her 6 year old son, often in the kitchen. “I am a major foodie, I love to eat therefore I absolutely love to cook. Just put on some Frank Sinatra and give me my wooden spoon!“
Andrea A., RDA
Andrea, our Registered Dental Assistant, has been with ProviDent Dental Group in Burbank for over 5 years. She enjoys working with the team to provide each and every patient top notch dental treatment. Her positive attitude and engaging personality make patients feel at ease even during tedious procedures. Andrea’s highest priority is the comfort of our patients. Outside of the practice, she loves to vacation with friends and family and is known as somewhat of a “sports nut.”
Yvette A. – Front Office Manager
Yvette is the senior member of the team, working with Dr. Ara in Burbank for over 15 years. She received her diploma in Medical/Dental Management from Glendale Career College. What she loves most about her job is creating a family dynamic with her co-workers and patients. She is a bit shy and not as talkative as Tanya, but really enjoys helping patients with their needs and loves to answer questions. She is passionate about her faith and very involved in her church, organizing several charity and community events to help those in need throughout the year. Her open heart and desire to genuinely help people sets a warm and inviting tone for our office.
Tanya A., Front Office Receptionist
Tanya graduated from Bryman College in Reseda, CA in 2007 and immediately joined ProviDent Dental Group in Burbank, CA. She always greets patients with a smile on her face and is known for her memory. She easily picks up stories and conversations with patients right where they left off six months earlier. Tanya enjoys this rapport with patients and loves creating relationship and dialoging each visit. When not helping patients in our office, she loves to spend time with her husband of 9 years and her son Christopher. She enjoys camping, going to theme parks, going to movies, bowling and any activity that allows her to spend more time with her family.
